Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ReelView platform ("Service"), operated by InScotia Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Scotland (Company Number SC864995).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
ReelView is a pre-publication content review platform for brands, agencies, and content creators. The Service is operated by:

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement to use the Service. By using ReelView, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Account creation
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
- Notify us immediately at support@reelview.io if you suspect unauthorised access
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
3.2 Account types
ReelView offers accounts for Creators, Reviewers, Brand Managers, and Agency Admins. The features available to you depend on your account type and subscription plan.
3.3 One person, one account
Each account is for use by a single individual. Sharing login credentials with others is not permitted. Organisations requiring multiple users must create individual accounts for each team member.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4.1 Plans
ReelView offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Current pricing is available at reelview.io/pricing.
4.2 Pay-Per-Use credits
Certain features are available on a pay-per-use basis through the purchase of review credits. Credits are non-refundable once used and expire 12 months from the date of purchase.
4.3 Billing
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
4.4 Cancellation
If you cancel a paid subscription, your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
4.5 Free trial
Where a free trial is offered, it will be clearly stated at signup. After the trial ends, you will be charged unless you cancel before the trial expiry date.
4.6 Failed payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to retry it. If payment remains outstanding, we may suspend or terminate your account.
4.7 Price changes
We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. Your Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to content you upload to ReelView ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership over Your Content.
5.2 Licence to us
By uploading content to the Service, you grant InScotia Limited a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you.
5.3 Content responsibility
You are solely responsible for all content you upload or share. You confirm that:
- You own or have the rights to upload the content
- The content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- The content complies with all applicable laws
- The content does not contain material that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
5.4 Content we may remove
We reserve the right to remove any content that, in our reasonable judgement, violates these Terms or applicable law, or that poses a risk to other users or to the reputation of the Service.
5.5 AI processing
Where you use AI-powered features, your content may be processed by on-device AI models. No video frames, audio, or transcript data are transmitted to our servers during on-device AI processing. Server-based AI processing is covered in our Privacy Policy.
6. Reviewer Access
6.1 Sharing sessions
When you share a review session, you are sharing access to content you have uploaded. You are responsible for only sharing content you have the right to share, and for choosing appropriate reviewers.
6.2 Reviewer obligations
Reviewers who access sessions via ReelView agree to keep session content confidential and not to reproduce, distribute, or use it for any purpose other than providing requested review feedback.
6.3 Magic links
Review links are personal and non-transferable. You must not forward review links to parties not intended to review the content.
7. Approval Certificates
7.1 Certificate content
ReelView generates approval certificates as a record of the review process. Certificates record: who reviewed, what was approved, and when.
7.2 Our role
We provide certificates as a record-keeping tool only. We make no warranty as to their legal sufficiency for any particular regulatory or compliance purpose.
7.3 Certificate integrity
Certificates are tamper-evident. Any alteration to a certificate after issuance invalidates it.
8. Prohibited Uses
You must not use ReelView to:
- Upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law or regulation
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Upload content that depicts illegal activity or that is harmful to minors
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our IP
The ReelView platform, its design, features, and all associated intellectual property are owned by InScotia Limited or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership of our IP to you.
9.2 Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
10. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
11. Service Availability
11.1 Uptime
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible.
11.2 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold InScotia Limited harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or content you upload.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to raise disputes with your local courts and consumer protection authorities.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you by email at least 14 days before changes take effect
- Require you to re-accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service
16. Termination
16.1 By you
You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Deletion is effective after a 30-day grace period.
16.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law.
16.3 Effect of termination
On termination, your right to use the Service ceases. We will retain your data as described in the Privacy Policy and delete it in accordance with our data retention schedule.
